Nasson Health Care, a division of York County Community Action Corporation is a nationally recognized Patient-Center Medical Home committed to offering people in York County, Maine high-quality, affordable and respectful primary care. 

Our team of compassionate and qualified professionals provides a fully integrated range of care including primary medical care, dental care and behavioral health. We also partner with many of the region’s social service organizations and specialties in our region to treat and care for the whole-person. 

Accessibility to quality healthcare is a basic right for each member of our community and we strive to welcome everyone, regardless of their ability to pay – whether you have private insurance, Medicare, MaineCare or no insurance at all. Our sliding fee discount program reduces fees according to family size and income, in accordance to Federal Poverty Guidelines. 

About York County Community Action
York County Community Action Corporation (YCCAC) is a private non-profit organization serving York County residents since 1966. The mission of the agency is to alleviate the effects of poverty, attack its underlying causes, and to promote the dignity and self-sufficiency of the people of York County, Maine. 

YCCAC programs include WIC, Head Start, Housing, Energy Services, Transportation, Community Outreach, and Health Care. Each year, YCCAC staff will interact with thousands of low-income York County residents to help with needs ranging from hunger and health care to tax preparation, family budgeting, and home heating assistance.

Nasson is proud to be recognized by the National Committee for Quality and Assurance (NCQA) as a Patient-Centered Medical Home. This approach to primary care ensures that our patients receive coordinated care that is organized by a central agency – which maximizes efficiency, improves communication and enables us to provide the highest level of care.


HRSA Quality Care Awards
Community Health Quality Recognition (CHQR) awards recognize Health Center Programs each year that have made notable achievements in specific areas of care to improve the overall well-being of those who live in their communities and seek care from their Health Center. Federally Qualified Health Care Status

Nasson Health Care, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), receives funding from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and has federal Public Health Service-deemed status with respect to certain health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
